This black and white version of the "Basilica of Saint Louis, King" in St. Louis, Missouri, showcases the beautiful lines and details of the architecture. Perspective is from the rear with the central point of interest the crucifix and altar. This historic building dates to 1764 when the founders of the city set aside land for religious purposes. This is the fourth structure to be built on the site; it was dedicated in 1834.
