One of the joys of the holiday season is receiving mail from friends and relatives - those with whom we are in frequent contact and those we've almost lost touch with. On Christmas Eve day, a beautiful white frost transformed the world outdoors. I took a neighborhood walk with my camera, stopping frequently to capture the beauty. The hoar frost freshened up a simple mailbox decorated with evergreen boughs, pine cones, and ribbon.

I use my camera to explore the world around me and as a basis for creative expression. Because I live in Nebraska, I have a fondness for rural scenes that will be evident as you explore my images, but I enjoy traveling and have many other interests as well. I hope you enjoy your visit.
