A Song to Sing Long Sleeve T-Shirt

Although it's common and rather unassuming in appearance, I love the house sparrow (Passer domesticus). It hangs around all year and chirps from the bush by the corner of our house -right next to the feeder, of course - even when all the other birds seem to have given up for the winter. This one had landed on the back of a lawn chair. I moved it to an automotive detail picture from a rusty 1935 Ford coupe I'd found in an auto repair shop near our house, the tones and textures of which worked well with the bird's plumage, I thought.

I use my camera to explore the world around me and as a basis for creative expression. Because I live in Nebraska, I have a fondness for rural scenes that will be evident as you explore my images, but I enjoy traveling and have many other interests as well. I hope you enjoy your visit.
