Description
The flowing patterns, lines, shapes, and colors that make up this abstract triptych are "natural" and not computer generated. Each of the three parts is a photo of a portion of the brass wrapped exterior wall of the elevator shaft in the old Omaha Public Library, now an office building. The building, designed by Thomas Kimball in the architectural style of early Second Renaissance Revival, dates from 1891. It is an Omaha Landmark and on the National Register of Historic Places.
The three panels of this composition, in addition to two others, can be seen as separate images in my Design Elements and Abstracts gallery.
