Description

This elaborate architectural terra cotta ornamentation can be found on the Farnam Street side of the Rose Realty-Securities Building in Omaha, Nebraska, the only building there that completely follows the style of Chicago architect Louis Sullivan in design and detailing. His ornaments are organic, based on foliage and floral motifs. A square crop emphasizes the symmetry of this medallion.
