A Crazy Mouse roller coaster is characterized by an unbanked track, very tight hairpin curves, and a single car (instead of a train of several cars} that begins to spin as it reaches the upper level. Here you can see a spinning car just left of and above the center of the image. This particular ride was set up at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines, but the attraction is popular not only at fairs and carnivals but at more permanent amusement parks.
