Description
An elaborate hot air balloon shaped like the head of the fictional Star Wars character Darth Vader is a big attraction at the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta held each October. When the weather conditions are just right, special shape balloons like this one participate in a mass ascension called a "special shape rodeo". Other mornings the balloon gets inflated but does not ascend. Here the sky, onlookers, and foreground have been processed to look like a brightly colored painting; the "unprocessed" balloon fits right in to this festive scene :) .
