Description
This simple floral arrangement of three freshly cut iris flowers would be perfectly at home in any decor, from a country kitchen to the dining room of a modern condominium. The dramatic black background sets the purple and white iris blooms, artlessly displayed in a simple Mason jar, off beautifully. When I was a girl in New Mexico, along with a pathetic breakfast in bed that usually included burnt toast, we always gave our mom a bouquet like this for Mother's Day because iris were always in bloom in our yard in mid-May.
