Description
The green tree frog (Litoria caerulea) is a common Australian amphibian, popular as an exotic pet and of least concern in terms of conservation. It is also known as White's tree frog in terms of John White who described it in 1790. Another popular name for this animal is the dumpy tree frog; it gets this name from the fact that it tends to overeat and get fat in captivity. This frog is relatively unafraid of humans and does well living near them and in captivity.
