Description
The Harris Hawk is a medium sized bird of prey that is native to the southwestern United States, Central America, and parts of South America. It is popular in falconry. This particular hawk currently lives at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum in Tucson.
This image, shown here on sky blue, is actually centered on a transparent background which makes it a popular choice for apparel and home decor items. I have two similar versions available. One is not on a transparent background and is more suitable for prints; the other is on a transparent background but the hawk is in the upper left corner. All three images can be seen in my Animals - Birds gallery.
