This little guy (Hylomantis lemur) looks so curious - or maybe just interested in what's going on around him. Some might think his perch precarious, but he's actually very sure footed and quite comfortable though I suspect he will soon walk on down to a nice, broad leaf where he can relax. Walking is what this tree frog, native to Central America, does best, and that accounts for its noticeably skinny hind legs. Sad to think that these creatures, also known as lemur leaf frogs, are critically endangered.
