Household linens including towels and tablecloths are line drying on a summer day. This is the backyard of a rural home. It is bordered by a picket fence and beyond the fence a large tree spreads its branches and shades the scene, adding interest through the shadows cast as the sun passes through its branches. The details of the scene have been simplified in post processing, hence the word "photopainting" in the medium description.
I also have this scene available in color; linens are in pastel tones. This is one of my most popular images and a personal favorite; whenever I share either version, I get feedback about all the memories it brings back.
I use my camera to explore the world around me and as a basis for creative expression.
