It's hard to miss this large, bold P with the double arrows and the word "Parking" below it, installed on the side of a brick building in downtown Papillion, Nebraska. The sign directs drivers into a lot behind the structure reserved for off-the-street parking. To my eye, everything about the side of the building is right: it's eye-catching and helpful; both the graphics and the navy blue and white palette are simple and clean. I especially like the way the layout works with the window to complete the design. And it makes me want to stop and go into Heartwood Event Center to attend a party or ask about hosting one.
