I prepared this festive poinsettia close-up as a holiday card, complete with a border and text which reads "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year". The traditional Christmas flower, the poinsettia (Euphorbia pulcherrima) has smaller colored leaves called bracts that surround the actual flower. These are a deep rich red, the most common color. This image would make a perfect holiday card. It is also available without the border and text in my Flowers gallery.
