Description
A steep, narrow road leads through the Loess Hills bluffs of western Iowa from which it is carved. There is light at the end. Here the scene is used to illustrate an inspirational quotation from "A Servant to Servants" by Robert Frost. Here are a few lines from that long (177 lines) narrative poem:
He says the best way out is always through.
And I agree to that, or in so far
As that I can see no way out but through -
Leastways for me - and then they'll be convinced.
The same image is available in both color and black and white but without the text in my "The Midwest" gallery where the title is Stenophobia.
