An old barn, now abandoned, sits at the crest of a slight rise in Sarpy County, Nebraska. It's a cold mid December afternoon and the sun is just beginning to set, bringing a warm golden glow to the sky and clouds in the west. In this composition, a small grove of trees frames the off center barn and the dirt road that leads to it and a small flock of geese can be seen in the distance.
