Description
Back in the day, no one would have painted their kitchen pantry so gaily, but wouldn't it have been fun?! I started with a section of shelves intended for storage of canned goods, crocks, and bowls (see lower right quadrant), took a few liberties with color on the cupboard back, and added a picture of a hen and rooster. Then I placed four copies together in the same square format frame, flipped and flopped three of them to create a symmetrical composite, and added a blue frame between and around the sections. The result is a vintage quadriptych that combines nostalgic Americana with a contemporary, pop vibe.
