This is the entrance of Bent's Old Fort, a trading fort located on the Santa Fe Trail near La Junta in southeastern Colorado. The American flag seen here flying over the entrance to the adobe structure is accurate to the period of the fort, the 1830's. The fort is a National Historic Site and Landmark.

I use my camera to explore the world around me and as a basis for creative expression.
