Olde Porte Beach is well known as a beach where dogs are allowed off leash as long as they are under control. It is located between Avila and Port San Luis on the California coast. In this scene, you see an old shoe and some of the other discarded or lost items that have been washed up on the sand - the dogs love them. This popular beach also has bonfire pits that are available from April through November.
