On a cold winter day, hoar frost forms on a trio of dried leaves hanging from a slender branch. In the morning it was clear, but soon a heavy fog rolled in and the white frost began to form. The ordinary was transformed into the extraordinary, and beauty was created where none existed before. Photo taken in Papillion, Nebraska.
