The small marina at Branched Oak Lake in southeastern Nebraska looks quiet in this photo, but it was a beautiful June day and there was actually a lot of activity here. This is a state recreation area, popular for fishing and pleasure boating as well as hiking and picnicking.

I use my camera to explore the world around me and as a basis for creative expression.
