Datura is a toxic plant, also commonly known as a moonflower, which bears simple but beautiful flowers at night. It's seeds and flowers contain tropane alkaloids and it has long been used as a poison in some cultures. Although it is nocturnal, on overcast and rainy days, the blossoms can last into the daylight hours.
