Description
The Basilica of Saint Louis, also known as the Old Cathedral, was completed in 1834. It was the first cathedral to be built west of the Mississippi River. This building, in the Greek Revival style of architecture, is the fourth structure to have been constructed on the site. This perspective shows the narthex and the large pipe organ installed in the gallery above the west entrance.
