This is the detail around the entrance door in a building, now the Macaroni Apartments, built by the Skinner Manufacturing Company in 1914 in downtown Omaha, Nebraska. At the time, the company made cereal and macaroni products from duram wheat and needed to be close to the supply. From the early 1960's until 1995 when the building was converted to loft residences, it was occupied by Commercial Optical Company.
