This narrow antique shop, la Brocante Maillotine d’Antiquites, is located in the old part of Joigny, a town just an hour and a half from Paris by train. Like so many buildings in European cities, the buildings on this street touch – or practically touch - one another, meaning that the vertical space is extremely important. It’s hard to beat red doors, window trim, and shutters for French charm. This photo has a lightly painted look.
