Strelitzia reginae, popularly known as a bird of paradise or crane flower, is native to South Africa. However, it has been introduced to many other parts of the world including southern California where it has been adopted as the official flower of Los Angeles. I isolated this particular blossom and placed it on a transparent background. For prints (paper, canvas, metal, etc.), it will be presented on black. But for all other products (shower curtains, tote bags, cell phone cases, etc.), the color of the background is the buyer's choice.
