A few years back, a summer drive in the country took me past this fun juxtaposition: a layered rural landscape with grass and wildflowers in the foreground and cattle grazing in the field beyond punctuated by a street sign typical of those found in nearby towns and cities. Only a barbed wire fence separated the two. The scene was in Sarpy County, Nebraska. The photo has a very lightly painted look.
