Cuarenta y ocho is forty-eight (48) in Spanish and since I found this architectural detail in L'Escala, Spain, it seemed fitting to use that language in the title. This one is all about shapes and textures with the smoother, rectangular door and window and the square house number contrasting with the rough, irregular stones of the ancient building.
