Description
Just having a little fun by taking the expression "Drinks are on the house" literally. In American English, the phrase means that the drinks are free - i.e. the "house" or establishment or someone else who has offered to pay is buying a round of drinks for everyone. This is usually done as a celebratory gesture. In an attempt at a little humor or whimsy, I have put an assortment of alcoholic drinks on the roof of a house: a glass of wine, a screwdriver, a rum and Coke, a martini, a creme de menthe, a Bloody Mary, an aperitif, a Kahlua, and a margarita.
