This pair of adobe hornos or ovens is conveniently located just outside a single story home in Taos Pueblo. Using various methods, these versatile ovens are used for cooking everything from bread to corn to meat - including a whole turkey. Originally used by the Moors, these ovens have spread and can now be found in many parts of the world including the Southwestern United States, South America, and Europe.
