Would you believe I found this amazingly ornate door and window at 318 Jefferson Street in Jefferson City, Missouri? It looked to me as if it was straight from the Middle East or North Africa. Because it's on a busy urban street, I had to work for this photo, which is actually a vertical panorama of a number of horizontal shots. The only information I could find on the building, now apparently the Schmidt Apartments, was that it was added to the local Landmarks list in 2004 by the Historic Preservation Commission of Jefferson City.
I use my camera to explore the world around me and as a basis for creative expression. Because I live in Nebraska, I have a fondness for rural scenes that will be evident as you explore my images, but I enjoy traveling and have many other interests as well. I hope you enjoy your visit.
