The macaron (often spelled macaroon in the United States) is a light, crunchy, sweet treat, especially popular in Europe. The cookie itself is meringue based; the filling is creamy and varies in flavor. The green here is pistachio, one of the brown creams is mocha, the pink one at the top is strawberry. There was also mint, vanilla, almond, and chocolate. I use my camera to explore the world around me and as a basis for creative expression.
