Nebraska Gothic - Farmer metal print by Nikolyn McDonald. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
I call this one "Nebraska Gothic" because of the farmer with a pitchfork - the pose was his idea, but I loved it. He was "working" at the annual Camp Creek Threshers show near Waverly, Nebraska, a few years back. Because I love the colors and the stance and country feel remind me of Grant Wood's "American Gothic" painting, I decided to give this photo a painted look of my own.
