The late afternoon shadows bring out the gentle contours of the hilly Palouse farm country in southeastern Washington state. This image is the 7th in a series that showcases this beautiful farmland, dotted with tidy farms. Here you see a house, a clump of trees planted for their shade and the shelter they offer from inclement weather, a barn and outbuildings. In the background the rolling terrain is now brown, now light green - it is early spring and the crops are just beginning to sprout.
I use my camera to explore the world around me and as a basis for creative expression. Because I live in Nebraska, I have a fondness for rural scenes that will be evident as you explore my images, but I enjoy traveling and have many other interests as well. I hope you enjoy your visit.
