I've combined a photo of the November 2016 supermoon with a night sky to create this beautiful, celestial piece. This occurrence is called a "perigee" and refers to the time when a new moon or, as in this case, a full moon, is closest to the Earth in its orbit. When that happens, the moon appears nearly 15% larger than usual.

I use my camera to explore the world around me and as a basis for creative expression. Because I live in Nebraska, I have a fondness for rural scenes that will be evident as you explore my images, but I enjoy traveling and have many other interests as well. I hope you enjoy your visit.
