Description
I love to watch flocks of birds on power lines as they shift positions, fly off, return, or simply perch, watching the antics of their fellows. Yesterday I found myself in a position such that I was eye level with a grouping of power lines, three quite close together and another higher up. The scene reminded me of a sheet music staff with moving notes. I decided to pull three of the bird photos plus one of a treble clef sign together for this whimsical composite. It seemed to call for a quotation, so I added one by J. M. Barrie: "If you cannot teach me to fly, teach me to sing."
The entire creation is in a transparent file. As an art print, it is black and white; however, on a product, the buyer has the choice of background color.
