Two young messengers listen intently to the instructions from an officer during a Civil War reenactment near Fort Meade, Florida. The boys are being told to "run" messages over to soldiers manning the cannons; it is clear that they take their job very seriously. The sepia tones of this image give it a vintage look that is appropriate to the subject. I have applied a very light texture to this image that may be most apparent in a full resolution preview on the faces.
