Description
I especially like two things about these three windows in an old brick building, their quirky arrangement and the little plants. The two upper ones are obviously older and probably original to the structure, though the bricks in the top ten rows are different; so that's a puzzle, too. But there is at least a logic to their side-by-side arrangement. I leave it to you to figure out the third one. My best guess is a stair landing that someone decided was too dark - but why is it so closely aligned with the right side of the window above it. At a glance, the plants appear to be coming from badly maintained window boxes, but a closer look reveals that they are really weeds that have sprouted in the narrow space between the brick and the wood trim of the windows.
