Description
The front of this stately building, once known as the third Sarpy County courthouse, faces south from the rise of a hill overlooking the town of Papillion, Nebraska. Now used as the city hall for that city, the building was designed in the classical revival style by the architect W. F. Gernandt and was constructed in 1922-234. It's a dignified and stately building made of bricks, stone, and concrete. The 4th (newest and current) county courthouse, built in the 1970's, is located several miles to the south.
