Description
A bunch of beat up buckets sits by the corner of an old barn, ready to be grabbed when needed. They may be used to carry feed and water for the chickens or other livestock on the farm. The are great for collecting eggs. Maybe the farmer's wife or kids take one when they go into the garden to harvest vegetables or go out berry picking. On occasion, someone may even grab one, turn it upside down, and sit on it. There are all sorts of uses for pails, whether they are made from tin or galvanized steel, and the battered appearance of these tells us that they have come in handy more than once.
I also have this image in color - same title but without the BW on the end.
