Description
In the rooftop sculpture garden created by Antoni Gaudi when he designed Casa Mila, chimneys masquerade as "espanta bruixes" or witch scarers and guard skylights and staircase exits and vents, equally sculptural. Located in Barcelona, Spain, this building, which was built between 1906 and 1910 and is also known as La Pedrera or The Quarry because of its undulating stone facade, is now a World Heritage Site.
