Description
These leaves, silhouetted against the panes of a large window, belong to a tropical plant called Monstera deliciosa. In ideal growing conditions, which include temperatures of 20–30 °C (68–86 °F), high humidity, and shade, it produces flowers and an edible fruit. In countries where the climate is favorable, it has names such as the fruit salad plant, Mexican breadfruit, and Penglai banana. In cooler areas, it is often grown as a houseplant and may be known as the Swiss cheese plant or split leaf philodendron because it it often has holes in its heart-shaped leaves. Only rarely does it product flowers indoors.
This image has a transparent background; that means it is white on prints, but the buyer can "customize" it on any other products, selecting whatever color background he wants. If you are interested in having a different color background on a print, let me know.
