Description
It's early December at the Gene Leahy Mall in Omaha, Nebraska. The water of the park's lagoon is partially frozen, but reflections of the downtown skyline can be seen quite clearly in the open spots. The snow on the ground, on the iced-over areas, and clinging to the branches of the trees along the paths complete this quiet winter portrait of the city. In the background and from left to right you can see the W. Dale Clark Library, behind that the angled twin buildings of Central Park Plaza and the Woodmen Tower in the distance. On the right are the First National Bank Tower and the Omaha World Herald building.
