This is a view of part of the skyline of downtown Omaha, Nebraska, taken from the Gene Leahy Mall looking west. Among the buildings in the background are the W. Dale Clark Library, the Omaha World Herald building, the First National Bank Tower, the Central Park Plaza, and the Woodmen Tower. Also known as "The Mall", this park is a narrow strip of land in downtown Omaha, Nebraska. Central to the park is a large lagoon with waterfalls and islands that ducks love and a long path around it. At one end are a small sculpture garden and a children's play area with two large slides. As you see in this photo, during the winter holiday season, strands of lights are strung in the trees that line the mall. Built in the 1970s, the mall was renovated in late 2013.
