Description
These five arched oriel windows on a balcony supported by corbels and surrounded by elaborate, terra cotta detailing and diamond-patterned brickwork are on the Farnam Street side of what is now the Rose Blumkin Performing Arts Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Commonly called The Rose, this beautiful theater, built in 1926 in a combination Classical-Moorish architectural style, was originally a grand movie palace. It has been known as the Riviera, the Astro, and the Paramount.
